The Holy Trinity Parish Passion Players view this ministry as one of the most effective efforts by human beings to understand ourselves and the world in which we live. Participation in this artistic endeavor increases our understanding of this human condition, expands our awareness of human need, provides opportunity for play and celebration, offers creative activity for the development of expressive gifts, and provides a means of articulating our Christian world view.
In all of our planned artistic endeavors, we affirm our commitment and responsiveness to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Trinity Drama Ministry will provide workshops in Drama, Dance, Music, Cinema Arts and Still Photography. The goals of the Ministry committee will be to help each group to:
1) coordinate activities
2) solidify and expand their operations
3) supervise fund raising and expenditures
4) provide for other forms of expression in the community
5) effectuate a forceful presence in the city of San Diego

Director
John H. Cochran

John brings to Holy Trinity a vast amount of experience from film to television and especially work upon the stage. John holds a Masters of Fine Arts from UCLA and a Masters of Social Work from USC as well as graduate studies completed at the Peninsula Bible Seminary. John has also served as the department chair at the Yale School of Drama and has been the co-founder of 3 different stage and repertory groups.
