We receive and submit to the Bible as the record of God's saving acts in history and as the guide for daily living, whose truth transcends and judges every human culture and structure.
We receive and submit to the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds, which articulate the two primary mysteries of our faith: There is one God, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (the Holy Trinity); and Jesus, our Lord and Savior, is both fully divine and fully human (the Incarnation).
We are members of the one, holy catholic and apostolic Church (the Body of Christ), and we claim our membership within the Worldwide Anglican Communion. We are a parish in the Diocese of Argentina, which is within the Anglican Province of the Southern Cone.
Our primary purpose is the worship and service of God (“Whatsoever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” - Colossians 3:17). In this context, we seek to build up the Body of Christ, assisting our members in growth in holiness of life and in sharing the Good News of Christ in prayer, word and deed.
What Can a First-Time Visitor Expect During Sunday Mass?
God-focused Worship : We “face East” for prayer, which is the deepest Christian tradition. Also, our traditional “Rite I” language is designed to lift our hearts and minds towards God.
Corporate Worship : Every worshiper participates in offering the Liturgy; there is no “audience”. We offer ourselves personally in the prayers of the Body of Christ, rather than in individual statements, praying with “angels, archangels, and all the company of heaven”.
Catholic Worship, Gospel Preaching : We use the ancient and central act of Christian Worship: the Holy Eucharist, also called the Mass, the Lord's Supper, the Holy Communion, and the Divine Liturgy. In it, the faithful offer and receive the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ. Also, the preacher is answering the call to “tell God's story in Scripture and make sure the worshipers are in it.”
Formal Worship and Informal People : Although we are formal in our form of worship and the traditions of the Anglican Church, we are very informal in our fellowship with each other and "expected" dress within the church.

Baptism : All persons not baptized in a Christian Church (using water and the Name of the Trinity) are eligible for Baptism, our “birth in Christ.” Interested persons may schedule a pre-baptismal interview with our clergy, during which any necessary instruction will be given. In the case of infants or young children, such instruction would normally include parents and godparents or sponsors, and their commitments would be addressed. Baptisms normally take place during a Sunday Eucharist.
Confirmation : Preparation for the “Sacrament of Christian maturity and commitment” is offered annually in a series of classes on the Faith and Practice of the Church. These classes are recommended for newcomers, for those seeking review or renewal, and for inquirers.
Confession/Reconciliation and Holy Unction : These occasional sacraments are offered to those seeking healing in one form or another, and can be requested at any time. In particular, Confession is offered formally before Christmas and Easter, and Holy Unction on two Sundays of the year during Mass.
Marriage : Preparation for Holy Matrimony is offered to couples by our clergy, and normally consists of several meetings. The purpose of these is to assist the couple in preparing to receive God's blessing both at their wedding and throughout their marriage. It is expected that couples will attend church during the preparation.

Counseling and Spiritual Direction : Basic counseling is available by our clergy, although referrals will be made for those seeking intensive, long-term care. Spiritual Direction for those seeking to grow in the knowledge and love of God is also available.
Christian Education : A variety of study opportunities are available for all ages, especially during the school year. Our parish places high value on adult education, and many studies are available in addition to our regular “Sunday School”. We also offer a Vacation Bible School each summer for the neighborhood as well as parish children.
Outreach and Fellowship : A variety of opportunities for Christian Service and Fellowship are available throughout the year. The best way to find out what is happening is to check our weekly bulletins, monthly Logos , or web site.
